Global Outreach

Purpose

All Saints Global Outreach  (GO) ministry seeks to edify and equip God’s people with the gospel of Christ to reach out, in word and deed, to those who do not know Christ as Savior, have never heard, or have lost their way. Global Outreach supports ministries committed to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and acts of mercy and justice in his name.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 NRSV

Partners

We encourage a globally-oriented vision for evangelism among our church family—by developing ongoing relationships, prayer and regular financial support for each of our global outreach partners.  This is accomplished through prayer, regular communications, visits by missionaries, and mission trips to our partners’ projects. Through our relationships with these partners we are also able to provide aid to humanitarian crises and natural disasters in many parts of the world.

Global Outreach Partners

Participation

  • New Wineskins for Global Missions (www.newwineskins.org), annually in April; Ridgecrest Conference Center, North Carolina – Speakers and Anglican leaders from around the world and missionaries from many agencies inspire and equip clergy, lay leaders, youth ministers, mission mobilizers, potential missionaries, and entire congregations to fulfill our Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.
  • Global Outreach is seeking to develop a hospitality ministry to foreign students who are studying in the DC area. Parishioners interested in helping or leading that effort are invited to contact Global Outreach for more information.
  • Global Outreach is seeking help for its Rwandan coffee ministry — specifically we are looking for additional adults, teens, or children to help sell coffee on Sundays on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.
  • Global Outreach (GO) meetings are the third Thursday of the month, at 7:00 pm.

We enthusiastically welcome new members to join with us in this ministry.
